We hope you will consider joining us! We offer the most value for your investment of any professional organization for communicators. Through Virginia Professional Communicators, members continually learn more about their profession through conferences and other programs. Your continued professionalism can help you advance in your career, and the opportunity to network allows you to discover new career possibilities.

Members who accept a position on the VPC Board or participate on a committee gain valuable leadership skills. Members also find it rewarding to receive recognition through our popular annual communications contest. Not only can you win on the state level, but first-place winners compete on the national level.

Online Membership Application

Annual dues are $108. Student membership dues are $30; emeritus (retired) members, $42. To complete your membership, you will need to submit two communications samples, along with appropriate payment of annual dues. Online registration at NFPW will allow you to activate your membership quickly once payment has been received, and start enjoying all of the benefits of VPC membership!

Sample Submission

All new membership applications must include two samples of their communications work. These may be submitted by email or in hard copy using the contact information below. Membership Renewal

All membership renewals are processed through NFPW, but any updates to contact information or email preferences are processed through your account in our membership management system, Wild Apricot. You can log in with your email and password provided, click on your profile name to make any updates. If you don’t have your log-in information, you may change it below.
