Winners Alert
Contest winners: by now you have heard from contest chair Julie Campbell as the judges of our annual communications contest have finished their task.
These professionals, whose expertise spans everything from poetry to media relations, and photography to freelance writing, evaluated 84 entries submitted by 20 contestants. The judges’ descriptions of the winning work include the adjectives “fascinating,” “engaging,” “relevant,” “clever” and “genuine.
Winners’ efforts will be recognized during the Spring Conference Saturday, April 27.
The members who earned a first-place spot now move on to the national competition. Those results will be announced at the awards banquet on June 29 at the NFPW Conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. National winners will be notified in plenty of time to make arrangements to attend the annual shindig (which is a terrific event whether you’ve won or not).
Thank you to everyone who entered the contest, and congratulations to the fascinating, engaging, relevant, clever and genuine winners.
