Network in Carytown
Carytown is a fun, quirky, hip, cool, stylish – you choose the adjective – neighborhood in Richmond where people love to shop, dine and drink. The Huffington Post named Carytown as the one thing you must do in Virginia.
It’s the perfect spot for NFPW board members and VPC members to mingle before the spring board meeting for NFPW and the spring communications conference for VPC.
VPC is hosting the NFPW board. Both the board meeting and the communications conference will be held at the University of Richmond, April 28. For those who are able to, on the evening of April 27, we will meet in Carytown. Dinner is at 7 p.m. at Baker’s Crust (this is an update).
Many members will head to Carytown by 5 p.m. for shopping and exploring. If you plan to do so and want to connect with others, email Cynthia so she can identify a meeting spot. Shops are open late on Thursday, and Baker’s Crust is conveniently located at the end of the shopping district with easy parking.
For VPC members who are staying in town Friday, the NFPW board will dine at Travinia. VPC members also are invited. The evening promises good food and conversation.
For both evenings, members will pay for their own meals. Please email Cynthia Price at cynthiapricecp@gmail.com if you plan to join us for dinner so she can reserve tables. The cutoff is 5 p.m. Monday, April 24.
