As announced in the August newsletter, after careful consideration and an abundance of caution, VPC’s board has decided to host a virtual fall conference series rather than an in-person opportunity. The board is excited to announce our VPC Fall 2021 Conference Series lineup.

Registration for several of VPC’s 2021 Fall Conference Series events is now open. Details are also still being finalized for a few of the events. Mark your calendars with the dates below, and register today for the networking, lightning talks, and COA events.

The VPC fall conference series will include:

• Oct. 7, 7 p.m.: VPC Networking Event
• Oct. 16, 10 a.m.: VPC Lightning Talks
• Oct. 19, Noon: How Misinformation Affects Communities
• Oct. 27, 7 p.m.: Meet Patty: A Chat with Our COA
• Nov. 4, 7 p.m.: VPW Foundation Webinar Workshop

These events are free and open to VPC’s members, but registration is required. The Zoom link to join the event will be emailed a day or two ahead of each event. The board selected a range of days, topics, and times we hope will suit our membership and allow members to attend at least one, and hopefully all of our events.

Given there are no fees for registration, we would be delighted if you would instead consider a donation to the VPW Foundation to support student scholarships, which we will hear more about as part of our fall conference series in November.
